AD Ports Launches Enterprise-Wide AI Headquarters
AD Ports Group has announced the launch of Intelligence Headquarters (IHQ), an AI-driven business intelligence platform that will deploy thousands of digital AI workers across 20 operational workstreams spanning its ports, maritime, logistics, economic cities, free zones, and digital businesses. The announcement coincides with the Group’s 20-year digital transformation journey and aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to position the country as a global leader in AI innovation. The platform was officially launched at the Group’s Digital District at Zayed Port in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity Council for the UAE. AD Ports stated that IHQ has been designed with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, transparency, and the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, said the organisation has evolved from a local Abu Dhabi ports operator into a global trade, transport, and logistics company by investing consistently in digital technologies. He noted that the launch of IHQ represents the next phase of that transformation, with artificial intelligence serving as a force multiplier that enhances employee capabilities rather than replacing them. Group Chief Digital & Information Officer Mohamed Jamal-Eddine added that AI will be embedded at critical operational points where it can measurably improve speed, accuracy, efficiency, and decision quality across the business.
